- Paint your home a different neutral colour that would be attractive to buyers
- Depersonalize by taking down family photos and removing specific personal items
Once you start doing these steps you will find that the home you knew is changing. Think of your home now as a product that you will be selling.
Create your own memories
Take lots of pictures of your home and create an album of pictures during the seasons. This will not only be a resource for buyers but it will be memories for you to cherish when your home is sold. Keep an open mind when you have any offers. Be flexible during the negotiation process.
Do not dwell on the idea that your home is being sold, moreover you want to start thinking of the next home you will have and the memories you will have there. Focus on the future and keep in mind bigger and better things are yet to come.
