The more information you give us, the more information will be presented on your property listing. Make sure you note any upgrades and improvements you have done on your home. Perhaps there are features you can add to make your listing more competitive (quiet street, no back neighbours, new landscaping, new roof, or interior finishes).
Advertise and more…
Find out how your home will be advertised, especially the open house. Does your realtor use social media? Do they have their own company website (is Instagram, Facebook and Twitter used)? Don’t be afraid to post your home on your own Facebook, Instagram pages, etc. Word of mouth also works well too!
Pictures launch thousands of views
One of the first questions you need to ask before you hire a real estate team is: “Do you use a professional photographer, and will my home be staged?” If the agent says he takes great photos and you don’t need a professional photographer or have your home staged, then step away from this real estate broker. This is not a time to settle for second best when you are in competition with perfectly staged homes that are professionally photographed.
Make your home a showcase home
If your home looks good in pictures make sure that your buyers get the same experience when they enter your home. Take time to have it clean and decluttered as possible. If your home doesn’t look as good as your pictures, then all your hard work is for naught.
